We are now taking bookings for our brand new venue location, The Brampton Venue, officially opening for events from January 2026.
Like our Onewhero Venue, the Brampton Venue has been designed as an all-in-one ceremony and reception location inclusive of ceremony spots perched above the water as well as a beautiful custom marquee and comprehensive inventory list.
Tucked away in a private spot along the coast, the Brampton Venue features private beaches and expansive panoramic views over the Brampton Reef out to the Bay of Islands for you and your guests to enjoy.
The space has been meticulously crafted with beautiful oceanside celebrations in mind and we cannot wait to share it with you and your loved ones on your NZ wedding day.

Seaside Ceremonies
Our Brampton Venue has multiple coastal ceremony locations for you to choose from for your wedding day.
The Jetty, featured above, is a man-made wharf tucked along the property’s coastline. This flat, grassed area provides a unique location to host a wedding ceremony perched above the water with expansive views out to the Bay of Islands. The area will also feature an outdoor bar, perfect for a post-ceremony toast.
Alternatively, the large lawn area in front of the Marquee has plenty of space for a ceremony with wrap-around coastal views.
The Marquee and its awning will provide a sheltered area for your ceremony and reception in adverse weather conditions.

Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony you and your guests will be able to enjoy drinks and canapés on the expansive marquee lawn situated next to a private bay with breathtaking views out to the Bay of Islands.
This area will feature some outdoor furniture, as well as a large purpose-built bar from which drinks can be served throughout the day.
Outdoor lighting will also make this space usable later in the evening once the sun has gone down.

Luxury Marquee Receptions
The Brampton Venue will feature a premium 240sqm Black Marquee, providing a classic blank canvas for your wedding reception. The Marquee will also include a 5m wide awning that will provide extra outdoor cover.
Inside, the Marquee will have a white internal roof as well as a concrete floor. We’ll also provide other reception items such as dining furniture, lighting, generator, luxury toilet trailer, separate catering area and other little touches to ensure your reception runs smoothly from start to finish.
The space is large enough to comfortably seat 130 people, with room to spare for a dance floor. Clear walls also allow you to enjoy uninterrupted ocean views and create an alfresco dining feel.

The Brampton Venue will have a capacity of 130 guests total, including the wedding party and excluding vendors.

For January, February and March 2026 the Brampton Venue will be open for Friday bookings.
The afternoon before the wedding you and your vendors will have access to the venue to set-up, as well as to do a ceremony rehearsal if you wish to do so.
On the wedding day the venue will be open in the morning if you or your vendors need to do any final set-up. The venue closure for events is 11:30pm.
You will also have access to the venue the morning after your wedding to complete the pack down and collect personal items, while we take care of the cleaning and rubbish removal.

We are a semi dry-hire venue, meaning we take care of the functional elements required for a marquee wedding, leaving you to focus on curating other elements to make the day unique to you.
Our venue is the perfect space for you to set-up and style according to your wedding day vision, whether through DIY or with the help of a Wedding Stylist or Florist.
We are lucky enough to have some amazing local vendors in this space, and will happily connect you with these businesses who can help to bring your plans to life within your budget.

We’ve partnered exclusively with a selection of fantastic caterers, each with delicious menu options at a variety of price points.
All of these businesses come highly recommended by previous couples, and are happy to tailor their menus to suit your tastes and preferences.

Baylys’ Farm is a BYO venue, meaning you can supply your own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for your event with no corkage fee. Our Brampton Venue will have a purpose built bar under the marquee’s awning.
All bar service at Baylys' Farm is to be managed by local bar maestros Kindred Spirits. In addition to Bar Staff, the Kindred Spirits team can provide a variety of bar services and inventory for your wedding and will ensure you and your guests stay well hydrated throughout the event.

As an operating farm it is important to us that we keep our farm roads in good condition, and we also want to make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the night. Therefore we ask that you book bus transport for your guests to arrive and depart in via Clarks Coaches. We are able to provide recommendations on bus numbers and timings.
Please note, the wedding party and vendors are able to drive onto the venue and we can provide parking for these vehicles. Other guests may drive under special circumstances, please contact us if you would like more information on this.

While we do not have any onsite accommodation the property is a 10-minute drive from Paihia, which is the tourist and accommodation hub for the Bay of Islands.
A lot of our couples book the larger holiday homes for themselves and wedding party, while guests can choose from a huge variety of hotels, motels, holiday homes and campgrounds which are all available at different price points.
